This year marks our 30th anniversary, and it’s an opportune moment to reflect on the incredible journey that brought us to this milestone.
In the bustling city of Indianapolis, in 1962, a young Bill White embarked on a career in the HVAC industry at Schilling Chilling. Little did he know that his journey from a warehouse stocker would lead him to become the Vice President of Schilling Chilling by 1970.
In 1979, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Bill White decided to forge his own path. Alongside partner Carlos Morenos, he founded Temperature Service, Inc. After years of success in the HVAC service and construction industry, the partnership of Temperature Service came to an end in 1994.
1994: A Journey Begins
White’s Heating and Cooling, Inc. came into existence on May 9th, 1994 and embarked on a mission to redefine comfort for homes and businesses. During Bill White’s tenure as President, Mike White diligently navigated through every aspect of the company – starting from roles like gopher, progressing to an installer, a service technician, and eventually taking charge of office management. This journey mirrored the path his father and predecessor had taken approximately three decades earlier.
After many years of preparing, 2010 marked the long-deserved retirement of Bill White, and Mike took the reins as the new President and Owner.
Fast forward to October 16th, 2020, when Mike White announced the decision to launch a new brand, resurrecting the nostalgic name, Temperature Service, dating back to 1979.
